Regenerative agriculture—a practice of holistic farming where everything is seen as interconnected and vital—can build resilience to mitigate the effects of climate change and protect the future of coffee and our planet. Regenerative Organic Certified® (ROC®) was established in 2017 to promote holistic agriculture practices in an all-encompassing certification that champions three pillars: Soil Health & Land Management, Animal Welfare, and Farmer & Worker Fairness.
In Fall of 2023, the "Las Hermanas" coffee of the SOPPEXCCA Cooperative in Jinotega, Nicaragua became our third coffee producer partner to become ROC, included in this Fair Trade Organic coffee set. We are excited to bring you this coffee from the forefront of the regenerative revolution!
We treasure our relationships in the global coffee community and invest in projects at origin to
support our partners in their commitment to environmental sustainability and social welfare. We also invest in reducing our day-to-day impact, through initiatives like energy-efficient Loring Smart Roasters to reduce carbon emissions per batch by 80%.
